A master of his craft, Eric Sardinas has garnered acclaim for his mesmerizing guitar skills, and raw, soul-stirring vocals. Nine years after the release of his last record, the new album Midnight Junction is poised to showcase his artistic journey while staying true to the blues-rock roots that have earned him a dedicated global following.Sardinas is joined by an excellent rhythm section, compromised of Chris Frazier (Whitesnake, Foreigner) on drums, Koko Powell (Lenny Kravitz, Sheila E) on bass guitar, David Schulz (The Goo Goo Dolls, Bo Diddley) on keys and organ, with very special guest Blues harmonica legend Charlie Musselwhite. It was produced by Matt Gruber.
On August 31, 2023, I had the pleasure of interviewing Eric Sardinas via Zoom, as embedded below and coming soon to the Long Beach, New York-based Paltrocast With Darren Paltrowitz television series. Besides Midnight Junction, we talked about Sardinas' time on the road alongside Van Halen's David Lee Roth -- I realized after our conversation this was on Roth's 2003 tour and not during the Your Filthy Little Mouth era -- and his future plans as a touring and recording artist. More on Sardinas can be found online by clicking here.
